Why do we have a gender pay gap?
Tedstone Oil 2022 gender pay gap report combines data from our legacy organisations to establish a new gender pay gap baseline for Tedstone Oil as a whole.
The pay gap is largely the result of the fact that Tedstone Oil operates in the upstream oil and gas sector, which has traditionally been a male industry. This is reflected in the fact that across Tedstone Oil, women currently make up just over a quarter of employees, with more men than women working in offshore and specialist technical roles, which tend to attract higher levels of pay.
Tedstone Oil is committed to helping women reach senior roles across the organisation, including engineering and technology.
